PIXUS visits Australia -- Day 2
Today's itinerary was supposed to be a visit to Blue Monutains but I heard on the news last night that there's bush fire in the region so we decided not to go. We wanted to sleep for a longer time but at around 8.15am, we heard loud noises coming from outside the apartment. Miss Chin (she slept nearest to the balcony) opened the curtains and found people protesting on George Street. Wow.... cool.... we have never witnessed protests ever in Singapore!

The streets cleared and we walked along George Street again. This is a parking meter, unlike Singapore's coupon system.

Walked passed QVB and took more pics coz the weather's good. Sunny!

Our fav street...

We had brunch at a foodcourt at the basement of Myer (Pitt Street). The food was yummy! Then we walked all the way to Circular Quay for a Sydney Harbour Cruise!
We bought tickets for the Captain Cook Coffee Cruise (there's free coffee, muffin and biscuits).

We had time to kill before the cruise so we went to take pictures of the Sydney Opera House (SOH).

and we continued taking more pics of SOH...

and more...

Think we had hundreds of pics of SOH... hahaha

We did what the Australians do... sit on grass patches and enjoy the sun.

Okay time for our 2h 15 min cruise!!!

Pic of SOH again! (not that nice coz I'm on a ferry)

See the SOH and Harbour Bridge behind?

Yay... we're enjoying the cruise...

Notice the coat hanger on the bridge. There'll be fireworks coming out from the hanger on New Year's day!

These are homes of the rich and famous...

Oh how I wish I stayed here...

Though it's summer, it was really cold so we went inside and took funny pics...

The cruise ended and we went to explore the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Took pics again (wat else???)

We walked from Circular Quay to Darling Habour (again) coz we wanted to visit the Sydney Aquarium. Sydney Aquarium is a Must See for tourists so we expected it to be super big. But... it was smaller than we expected and we completed it in 2 hours. Reminded us of Science Centre and Underwater World. Nevertheless, it was fun and there was a spectacular part of the aquarium (show u in a while).
At the entrance...

Looks like Underwater World? Except that there's a moving walkway in Singapore's.

Check out wat's behind us!!! The tank is HUGEEEeeee...

Well, it was a worthwhile visit coz nowhere else will you find a larger collection of Australian aquatic life with over 11,500 animals including huge sharks and rays, platypus, seals, fairy penguins, crocodiles and much more...
Having fun on Prymont Bridge, Darling Harbour.

Our last destination for the day was the Harbourside Shopping Centre where we had our dinner.
