PIXUS visits Australia -- Day 3
It's the first day of December and we woke up early because we've booked a tour of the Sydney Opera House at 10am. Late-comers would not be entertained so we must be punctual. Before going to the SOH, we wanted to visit a breakfast joint recommended by a travel guide book. It's supposedly a place where we can view Hyde Park while having breakfast. Again, we travelled by foot. This time we walked along Pitt Street. Well... after walking for 45 mins, we still couldn't find the Law Building so we had to skip breakfast coz it was already 9 plus and we didn't wanna miss the tour.
We arrived at Bridge Street... where in the world is the Law Building????

Alright, we continued walking and finally reached one of the wonders of the world... The Sydney Opera House!!!
A kind soul offered to take a pic for us...

And another...

See... I'm stepping on the steps of the SOH!!! So exciting!

The genius architect of the SOH, Jorn Utzon wrote this.

Our tour tics...

First stop... the Jorn Utzon Room...Behind me, a super long artwork by Jorn Utzon.

Check out the ceiling... our guide told us that Utzon wanted to preserve the original architecture of the building so the beams r not painted.

This room is used for private functions and it's an amazing room because.......... see for yourself (look behind Ms Lee)

We're not allowed to take pictures everywhere during the tour but here's some...

Our tour took and hour and our guide was great. I learnt lots about the SOH and was amazed by the history of the place. Am so happy that I can visit such an amazing place.... ahhhhh....
Even the toilet is way cool...

Notice that the exterior shines...

That's because of the 2 shades of the tiles...(according to our guide)

Posing time...

They quarelled...

juz kidding

After the tour, we set off for the Sydney Fish Market. Remember... we haven't eaten anything! This time we took the CityRail.

We finally reached the Fish Market...

We decided to eat at Peter's. The place works like this... select the seafood and they'll cook it the way u want.
Hold this gadget and when the food is ready, they'll beep u! Cool!

While waiting, we bought Sashimi.

Normally, I NEVER eat raw food coz I find it yucky. I was too hungry so I decided to give it a shot.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it tastes great! I'm so gonna eat sashimi (provided it's of good quality)
Some other things we ate...

After eating, we headed back to our apartment to rest for a while. Then we went out shopping at Pitt Street. Then we decided to buy stuffs from Woolworths Supermarket to cook since we have the cooking facilities.
Well.... guess what happened at the supermarket... (I got Ms Lee to pose for PIXUS)

A little purse containing our common pool of $$$ got pickpocketed and we had to report to the police!!!! Haizzzz.... so unlucky.
BTW... we cooked pasta... and it tasted yucky! Hehehehe...
