PIXUS celebrates Teachers' cum EAS Day 2007

Every year, during this period of time, I'd be at my busiest! There's Staff dinner, rehearsals, celebrations and other activities. Though it may be stressful, it's one of the most enjoyable times of the year where I get to spend time having fun with my colleagues and also remember why I join this profession.


30th August 2007

The celebrations started off with the Staff Dinner on 30th Aug at the Mandai Orchid Garden (near the Zoo). The theme for the dinner was Oriental Nite.

Karen and I knew each other since 1996 when I went back to AMKSS to be a relief tr. She was a relief tr then too. 11 years of friendship!

A celebrity came to visit us that day and it's none other than Princess Megan. The whole world wanted to take pictures with her!!!

There were many ex-AMKsians who came back to visit. I managed to take a group pic with Band 5 05/06. Proud to be in Band 5!!!

After the celebrations in school, some of the staff went to Sentosa to take part in the LUGE Competition organised by the PSG members. It was really fun although it was super hot. Didn't manage to take pics coz my hands were tied.

7 years in education... many great colleagues n friends... many good students... many happy memories... may there be many more good years ahead :)
