The Colourful Life of PIXUS: PIXUS visits Australia -- Day 6

This is the Central Station and we're waiting to catch the 7.25am train to Katoomba.

We've decided to go to Blue Mountain since we've walked almost the whole of Sydney city. We asked the ticket office if the bush fire situation is bad at Blue Mountain and she gave me a shocked look. Looks like we overestimated the situation. Good thing we decided to try our luck. Hehehe...

We're early so what else can we do? Take pictures!

About 2 hours plus later, we arrived at the Katoomba Station. It's seriously very cold here!!! Where's my down jacket???

We booked the Explorer Tour which includes 3 Scenic rides and unlimited bus rides. This was taken inside the nice red London bus which we took.

This is the place where we took the Scenic Skyway. Great view! A bit misty though so pics aren't fantastic. BTW, we were really very cold.

There's a cool feature in the Skyway... u can view the gorge from the transparent floor. See?

U know... people travelled from all over the world to see the famous Three Sisters and here we are...

Inside Scenic Cableway

Scenic Railway is the steepest inclined ride in the world... really quite scary coz there's no safety belts at all!

This was the one used in olden times by coal miners.... called the Mountain Devil.

Me a coal miner? No way!

We went up an open top bus for a guided tour. Nice view!

It's time to catch the train back to Central. What time will the train arrive? Check the board... 2.38pm

We need to go back early because we're catching the Australian Ballet at the Sydney Opera House at 7.30pm.

Here we are, before the ballet starts. The people here dresses really well for the show even though there's no dress code. Some of the night pics we took didn't turn out nice so I shall not insert.
