PIXUS followed me to the Light-Up Ceremony for the Mid Autumn Festival at Chinatown. Some AMKsians were there for job attachment. Here, a look at what they did there.

PIXUS meets Princess Megan

On 22 September 2006, Princess Megan aka Megan Ong was born in Thomson Medical Centre. Princess Megan is the first child of King Aubury Ong and Queen Ong Huiyin. PIXUS was truly blessed to be able to capture her beauty on her second day out of Queen Ong's body.

PIXUS stays in school

PIXUS is super happy that it has so many fans waiting to find out more about it's life. Apologies everyone, I've been really busy many PRELIM papers and also setting Final Term exam papers. Phew... I finally have the time to load pictures and write stories.

Alright, I'm gonna share about the experience of PIXUS during this period of time. For one, PIXUS visited a special room in AMKSS. It's called the I-Room and the I means INNOVATION. Teachers are supposed to hold meetings and brainstorming sessions in this room. In short, you innovate in this room. Well, I was there with co-marker Mr BKT. Look at the amount of papers we have to mark.


Ever wondered how teachers can mark so many scripts and yet not fall asleep? That's because we stock up our titbits!!! Sad to say, we usually put on a lot of weight after marking period. :(


You cannot keep marking and marking without a break... so PIXUS had some fun with it's special effects.

PIXUS meets BKT

PIXUS followed me to work on Monday (11 Sep) and it discovered an interesting thing at my neighbour's cubicle. Check it out...



Yes, it's a pair of crutches and it belongs to my neighbouring colleague Mr Desmond Tong, a.k.a BKT (Bai Kar Tong). My pathetic neighbour recently met with a freak accident in school. IT's so freaky that no one can believe how serious his condition is. Well, what happened was, we were kinda playing netball at the parade square. I decided to go to the PE room to get other sport equipments and when I went back to the parade square, BKT was BKed. The freak thing is that he knocked his knee onto the Netball post and.... Till this day, I still don't know how it happened or rather how come it's so serious. The only witness was Randy. Apparently the doc said that BKT tore his ligament (i think coz i can't seem to remember the medical things he told me).

Anyway, if u see him around in school in crutches, don't laugh okay and must remember to give way to him. WLately we've been hearing lots of giggles whenever we hang out with him and also hearing students whispering "Mr Tong hen ke lian"... hahaha

PIXUS stays in Gallery Hotel

PIXUS was invited to the Elaine & KP's birthday bash (pre-celebration coz we're both Sep kidz) on 9 Sep 2006 at the Gallery Hotel. Me and Elaine decided to spend some money and booked a room to throw a bash for our last 20's birthday... hehehe. In case you're wondering how my good pal Elaine looks like, you'll finally get to see her later.

Do you know where's Gallery Hotel? It's along Mohd Sultan Rd. No worries if you've never been to the hotel coz PIXUS would be taking you for a tour of it.

Okay we checked into the hotel and our room number is 830. The funny thing about this hotel is that the lobby is not like those of normal hotels where you enter and u see a posh lobby with tons of staff and guests walking around. This hotel's lobby is just like any other lobbies for offices and shopping malls. You'll see people walking around and they may not be hotel guests. They could be going to the clubs (Liquid Room, Sound Bar, etc) or restaurants located in and around the building.To get to the rooms, you'll need to take a lift to level 4 then change to another lift to get to the rooms. Troublesome.

So we got to level 8 and there's no room number on the doors! So how are we gonna find room 830? Well, the numbers are inscribed on the floor. How cool is that!


We entered and here's the room. Small but cosy.


The toilet is super cool. Black floorings and metallic basin. The toiletries looked uber cool too!




This is the view from the room. I think it's a condo opposite the hotel.


Me and Elaine had a fun time testing the capabilities of PIXUS. Playing with the colour accent mode and also using the self timer to take our pics coz the other frenz are not here yet.

What's a birthday party without presents right? I gave Elaine a cute pillow (for her car to keep the bunny company) and a necklace. I received a RAIN cd from her (forgot to take pic).

Alright, we had enough fun in the room and we're gonna head the pool next. Yipee! Elaine took a pic of me heading to the pool which is on the 5th level.


This is the glass lift. Nice view behind...


The Gallery Hotel's pool is small but the coolest thing about it is that the exterior is made of glass thus people outside the building can see you swimming inside. The view from the pool is nice too (esp when the construction of Watermark Condo opposite is completed)

After the swim, we met another good fren Kyan for dinner at a Japanese restaurant called AI (in jap) or BLUE. I ordered Curry Don and I was disappointed because I had wanted Curry Katsu Don :(

After dinner, we went back to the room to dress up for party.

Two other frenz Ginny and Yenny joined us and they actually came to the room to watch HBO continuously. What is this??!!!?


Alright gals... all ready and it's time to PARTY!!! We're off to The Butter Factory...

PIXUS goes to the movies -- 8 SEPTEMBER 2006

Lucky PIXUS went to Cathy on Friday to catch a movie. Have you been to the new Cathy? If you haven't, you really should. The seats are big and comfortable and there's ample leg room. The temperature of the theater is just right and thus there's no need to bring fur jackets. It's still under renovations and many shops are not opened yet but I found a cool shops there. For one, there's an Adidas Concept shop that all Adidas lovers would definitely go.

I would want to go earlier next time for a nice Ben and Jerry's ice-cream!


There's also a nice brow place called BROWHAUS. Nice decor. So if u want nice brows, go there yah.


Anyway, I went to watch THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.

It's a really good show! I would rate it 4 stars (out of 5). Shan't tell you the story line but all the ladies out there, go watch it with your lady pals. Don't go with guys coz THE MEN DON"T GET IT... haha

Curious who I went with? It's none other than.... Miss Chin Wei Ling...


After the show, we went to have supper at Mr Bean which is just walking distance away. We were walking and talking and blur Miss Chin stepped into a puddle of water. It's definitely a PICTURE PIXUS MOMENT... hahaha... ROFL.


It's 4 plus in the morning... yawn.... We decided to go back and we're shocked to discover that we're the last car left in the car park!!!
